The Corda platform is already being used in industries from financial services to healthcare, shipping, insurance and more. It records, manages, executes institutions’ financial agreements in perfect synchrony with their peers, creating a world of frictionless commerce.
Corda allows insurers, reinsurers and brokers to share and store policy information, in a cryptographically secure way. Corda provides a solution to drive efficiency and security; allowing private data to be shared in a secure matter, connecting disparate parties via a shared platform environment. While this premise may appear simple at first glance, the insurance industry has specific requirements in relation to privacy and security that only Corda can fulfill. In 2017, R3 launched the Center of Excellence for Insurers and Reinsurers in partnership with ACORD which is redefining the foundations of insurance by harnessing the power of collaborative networks, through the deployment of DLT within the financial services industry.
We are looking to strengthen our growing insurance team and the candidate we are seeking will take the lead in the London Market, working with insurance carriers, brokers and reinsurers, on Blockchain processes. Their experience will be applied to both partners and end-users building CorDapps and using Corda. They will be responsible for the day to day tasks that their vertical faces in terms of scheduling deal flows between partners, startups and end-users.
