We are looking for a 1st-2nd year Associate Counsel to join our global in-house legal team. The successful candidate will be based in our London office and will be an integral part of the legal team.  If interested, apply including your resume, cover letter and transcript.

Qualifications

  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Qualified to practice in England and Wales
  • 1-2 years of experience at a global law firm or in-house
  • Highly commercially minded
  • Proven interest within the technology / financial technology space. Knowledge of the blockchain space from a legal perspective a plus
  • Some experience drafting and negotiating license agreements, other technology agreements, services agreements, strategic alliance agreement, vendor agreements
  • Experience on advising on intellectual property and privacy and data security matters
  • Compliance experience including with GDPR
  • Ability to collaborate closely with business owners, finance, engineering and procurement on client and vendor matters
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment
