The Market Intelligence Team generates market analysis and robust frameworks for aggregating internal and external information that will be used to promote Corda externally and inform potential customers, along with ‘internal customers’ in a scalable way. Additionally, the team works across the firm on various strategic projects, ranging from product marketing, product strategy, industry landscaping and corporate development.
 
The Market Intelligence Intern will work on a variety of tasks to support strategic projects across the company. The role is fast paced and constantly evolving. Often, the market intelligence internship will include a mix of short term analysis engagements, along with a more open ended project that you can work on through the remainder of the summer.
Past projects have included: a detailed analysis of the ICO market (2017), framework for designing CorDapps to comply with MiFid II financial regulations (2018), and detailed competitive battlecards on R3’s core competitors in the enterprise blockchain space (2019).  

Responsibilities:

• Steady progress on the intern’s project(s)
• Feedback on thought leadership published by R3
• Industry landscaping
• Blockchain application analysis
• Monitoring public sources for updates relating to key competitors or ecosystem participants relevant to the analyst’s workstreams
• Detailing customer feedback, including product request specifications

Education, Skills & Experience:

• The ideal candidate will currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program, either entering their final or penultimate year
• Excellent writing ability and analytical skills
• Ability to express complex ideas in common frameworks, such as PowerPoint
• Eagerness to engage with other employees across the company
• Excel modelling skills are a plus as is the ability to code

• Please note the start date for this position is Monday 1st June (subject to change) and our internship program lasts for 12 weeks; at present we can only consider applicants that commit to these time frames.
