We are looking for PMO Administrators to join an amazing group of technologists, project managers and business analysts to contribute to the delivery of Corda, Corda Enterprise and other products in the Corda ecosystem. The role will focus on contributing to the success of delivering R3’s platform through robust project management techniques and by contributing to the output of the R3 Project Management Office.
You will have hands-on project administration experience to complement your strong organisational skills and attention to detail. You are knowledgeable in mainstream project management approaches and are comfortable working within these approaches under the guidance of an experienced project or program manager. This would include, but not be limited to: extracting relevant project information on a regular basis for upwards reporting, working with technical teams to help organise their workload, owning the delivery of small projects. You will contribute to the success of the Project Management Office by: regularly presenting updates on project progress, choreographing scheduled and adhoc meetings and retrospectives, maintaining documentation and communicating with project stakeholders to share updates to the project delivery processes, assisting the Head of PMO in their everyday activities. You will have a methodical and fastidious attitude to capturing, tracking and driving actions to a successful conclusion and be able to keep fast-moving situations under control. You will be a self-starter and comfortable with ambiguity. You will want to delight your colleagues by helping provide them with a high quality project delivery experience. You will have a track record of contributing to project deliveries by providing administrative assistance to project and program managers. You will have experience working in firms where releases, software development lifecycles, rapid change and speed-to-market are the back-bone of your work. The majority of your PMO administration experience will be from working in Agile environments where PMO administrators and the project team work closely together.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the co-ordination of project planning and capturing activities so members of the project team can work as efficiently and effectively as possible.
  • Assist the Head of PMO in improving the maturity of R3’s program and project delivery.
  • Provide project reports to team leads and management to give visibility of team progress and effectiveness.
  • Collate, validate and publish accurate project reports to the wider firm on a regular and timely basis.
  • Take ownership of small project deliveries applying appropriate project control techniques.
  • Own and delivery adhoc tasks as they arise from the Head of PMO.
  • Display flexibility under changing priorities and a willingness to collaborate with the other R3 teams to achieve common objectives. 

Competencies

  • An understanding of project management principles, most likely obtained through a combination of academic study and professional experience.
  • 3+ years PMO administration experience.
  • Jira experience is an advantage.
