We are currently looking for a Sales Engineer, to join our dynamic New York based team.
What will you be doing as a Sales Engineer at R3? 
You will be a key partner to our client base, providing direction and your deep technical specialist knowledge in applying R3s products to client business domains. (We will show you the ropes)
You will lead presentations, demonstrations, and benchmarks on customer product/applications.
You will provide technical guidance and thought leadership throughout the enterprise sales process, from initial discovery through to project initiation.
You will partner with key stakeholders within our organization including Product, Marketing, Professional Services, and Sales Operations, giving direction through providing technical and commercial feedback.

Education And Experience:

  • Do you enjoy working directly with clients? Then this is the role for you! Having a background in pre-sales or prior client facing roles is highly beneficial.
  • Prior DLT experience is not required, though an understanding of the DLT ecosystem is a plus.
  • Our ideal hire will have 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in FinTech or financial services domain.
  • Strong technical background including hands on programming experience, preferably with Java or Kotlin
  • Familiarity with financial services infrastructure, processes, and systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must for this role due to being client facing. Helpful experience includes: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques 
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments
  • Prior professional experience in IT Strategy, IT Business Management, Cloud & Infrastructure or Systems Engineering
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Knowledge of EA principles and methodologies
  • Ability to travel as needed
