Responsibilities:
- Create a demo project (the theme of which will be discussed with you based on your interests). The aim of this project is to build a presentable demo based on Corda – hands on coding skills are essential!
- Assist the Sales Engineering team inclient sessions (explain R3 products, gather requirements, plan workshops, etc.)
- Work closely with other business units in R3 to develop Sales Engineering materials and collateral (presentations, feature descriptions, a catalogue for common questions and answers, etc.)
Requirements:
- Strong Java or Kotlin programming skills (knowledge of JavaScript would also be advantageous)
- An interest in DLT and the financial industry
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills and ability to successfully manage tasks. Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated and goal oriented with excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge or experience in distributed architectures (e.g. cloud computing, Kubernetes, messaging, networks) would be advantageous
Additional Information:
- Please note that our Summer internship will be running from June-September 2024 and we can therefore only consider applicants who can commit to these time frames.
- Moreover, we cannot provide sponsorship for this position so candidates will need to have the right to work in the UK if they are to be considered.
