The technical writer will have oversight of the creation of documentation in a singular and consistent voice. They will ensure all our technical content is readily understood by our customers and users. This role is a key part of our quality process in developing great software. The core of this will be our online product documentation for both our open source and commercial offerings. This content will be tailored to separate audiences, primarily developers and IT Professionals. Additionally, the technical writer is responsible for our canonical training in the form of online training that is redelivered in various other formats.
As a clear communicator you’ll help us to deliver a consistent voice in our content that maintains our customers view of Corda as an elegant solution. As an advocate for your readers you’ll hold our engineering team to delivering quality content that you can use to convey complex ideas. As a brand champion you’ll also help us with a consistent representation of Corda in our external facing communications that target a technical audience.
You will not only be helping us to develop great quality content but have the opportunity to build your own brand. A great technical writer in this capacity will not only deliver structured content but deliver insightful content on our blog and other channels. We believe a great technical writer understands their audience, so we welcome the opportunity for you to meet with our customers and get your finger on the pulse of the industry. Blockchain is a hot topic and we welcome a quality voice representing R3 in the community.
Being results oriented you will help us to deliver quality content on time, in a predictable manner. You will be a part of our development process and hold the engineering team accountable for delivering the raw content you need to achieve success. Your focus on quality will be aided by creation of a consistent feedback loop from our users.
How We’re Handling Covid-19
We are extremely grateful to continue to grow as a company during these unprecedented times. Our #1 priority is the health, safety, and wellbeing of our current and future R3’ers. We want to share with you what we’re doing and what you can expect throughout our interview and on-boarding processes.
Since March, most R3’ers have been working remotely, although we have opened some key office locations global, with limited capacity for those that cannot work from home or need to come into the office.
As you go through the virtual interview process with us, please don’t worry if children or pets make a guest appearance. We understand these things happen- it’s real life after all! If we are fortunate enough to welcome you to the team, we’ll get a laptop couriered to you and get you set up virtually on your first day. We also provide you with a “Work From Home” allowance to enable you to purchase some equipment to be more comfortable and productive.
